More card shares

Heres another card sample of one I did for my friend in Colorado.  I'm not sure if this is a  quilt pattern or not. . . just like flowers and this reminded me of one.  Used the Square lattice embossing folder on this also- sure like how it adds a little something extra to the card.  The designer paper was some vintage type paper that she wanted me to incorporate into the card.  Hope you like it.  Happy Stamping.

Saturday card share

Pictured are some cards that I did for a friend in Leadville, Colorado. Made them for her several months back.  The quilt pattern is Flying Geese.  The designer paper was some that she had (not StampinUp) but wanted on her cards.  Love the Perfect Polka dots and the Square lattice  embossing folders. Liked the effect it gave to the card.
The card below is I think the Ohio Star quilt pattern.  Liked the combination of card stock and her designer paper on this card.   Check back tomorrow for more pictures. . .  till then, Happy Stamping!

Last graduation picture

I'm still having some problem getting my pictures to line up correctly but will continue working on it!Hopefully, this will get easier- have changed browsers and it seems like each one is a little different. This was a great picture of the buffet table that was set up for us at Dave & Buster's in Denver.  We had great food, great service, and great company. Check back tomorrow for some card shares.  Am busy getting card swaps ready for convention in less than a month.  Am sooooo looking forward to a great time in Salt Lake.

Terrific Tuesday Card share

More 3 x 3 cards for the box  in yesterday's post.  Still getting used to posting . Learning a little more each time I do it.  I love sharing projects with you . . .  only wished I had started "blogging" sooner.  These cards were done with the Easy Events stamp set too.  Really like how they look so "uncluttered".

HELLO AGAIN

I   love, love, love the colors that Sue Smedley chose for her lovely card to swap.  She used the new Betsy's blossoms stamp set and the scallop  punch. Placed on the Chocolate chip scallop dots ribbon was just perfect.  Thanks, so much Sue.
Cathy Gray  shared this card  using the new Butterfly punch . She used the new Natural Composition Specialty DSP and
stamped the shoe in blue.  Used the Adorning Accents Edgelits and Scallop Edge punch to finish off her beautiful card.

Happy Friday!

What a busy week BUT windows are in and they look fabulous.  Know they will be an energy saver. . . seems like it already is cooler in the house.
Below are more pictures from our SW Demonstrator meeting on Tuesday.
First is the picture of the make & take I did with them- It's the wonderful corner bookmark.
Mary Fish/StampinPretty did a video on stampinConnection.  They're really quick and easy.  The one I did was red, white, & blue- Great for July 4th "quick" gifts.
Talented friend, Karen Reid did this very thoughtful card. She used Cajun Craze and Soft Suede and  the Stamp sets were Nature Walk and Thoughts and Prayers.  A card that I'm going to CASE, for sure.
Will post more cards in a few days.  Till then. . .   HAPPY STAMPING!

Happy Wednesday...

HAPPY WEDNESDAY-  Windows half in- hooray-  Will be completely installed tomorrow.
DOOR PRIZE
This was the door prize I made for our SW StampinUp Demonstrator Meeting
Supplies Used:  Summer Smooches DSP, Occasions Alphabet Stamp, Midnight Muse CS, new
Finishing Touches Edgelit(loooove that edgelit)
Covered a small notebook with the DSP, CS, and alphabet was "popped up" with dimensionals.  Finished it off with some of the new ribbon available.
The matchbook design covered small post-it notes. Used the new Mixed  Bunch stamp set and the blossom punch.  Also am in love with both of those.  The In-Color designer brads are great for the center of the flower. Just noticed I attached the "Just for you" at the bottom upside down- that's what happens when you fill in at the last minute ...lol
Enjoy, anyway.

"Reason to smile" Friday...

Mr. Brown" delivered more supplies from the new 2012-2013 catty last night and I couldn't wait to start "creating" This card is using the "Reason to Smile" stamp , the new finishing touch edglits and the fabulous dahlia adornments which add that extra "zip" to the card. Other supplies used are Floral district DSP, Gumball green ribbon, Midnight Muse cardstock. "TIP" for using the new edgelit...it seems easier to remove from the die if you use a wider and longer piece of cardstock to "run" through the BigShot. Since die is a little over 6" cut that first and then butt the die next to piece previously cut and run it through the BigShot again.

Tuesday, card share

Card share today is one that I made for my SW demonstrator friend, Kendra Richardson. She's been my inspiration for this blog and actually did the design work for it. Thanks, so much, Kendra.
The 2 pieces of CS could be used for 2 different cards- the smaller one is inserted into the larger piece and then I decorated it using Fabulous Florets stamp.  The size is just perfect to insert a gift card into. I used cutout flowers to help keep the card closed.
