It's Friday, again-

Two slightly different versions of the same card.  Everything is the same except for the DSP used for the buterflies.  The DSP is the Epic This 'n That.  The stamp set is the poppy from the "Simply Sketched"  Hostess Set.  I used Crisp Cantaloupe CS , Tea Lace Paper Doilies cut in half and sponged the edge with the Crisp Cantaloupe ink.  Quatrefancy DSP and Early Espresso Baker's Twine completed the cards.   The Big Shot and magnetic platform sure came in handy to cut out the ovals around the flower.  I used the Word Window punch with the "friend to friend" saying from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Of course the butterflies wouldn't be complete without a little "bling". . . love that bling! Keep checking back for more of my projects.  Happy Stamping!

Hi, again, blogger friends

Another Birthday card- sorry I was absent for a few days. . .Had to get a new transmission for my car.  Hope you like this card.  Supplies used are the tea doilies inked on the edge with Coastal Cabana ink.  CS is Coastal Cabana and the Afternoon Picnic DSP.  Don't you just love how SU has everything coordinating?  Sure makes it easy to create a card.  The flower is from the "Best of Flowers" monthly set.  Used markers to color the flower-  I hope StampinUp will continue the "Best of" stamp sets in the years following this 25th anniversary year.   More coming.  Happy Stamping!

Happy mid-week, blogger friends

Love the "Best of" Stamps that StampinUp has come out with this year. This card used the "Best of Flowers" and the "Best of Greetings"  Also used the new DSP, Afternoon Picnic.  Loving that new Gingham Garden Washi tape. The card is the "Z" fold- a very popular fold.   Love the In-Color Dahlias, also.  Hope you like my creation! Am off to do some more creating- (swaps for convention) and also am celebrating my 48th Wedding Anniversary- My, how the years have flown by.  Check back. . .  Happy Stamping!

Middle of the week in the High Country

Well, it looks like those pesky little computer gremlins think this card should be turned on it's side.  For the life of me, I can't seem to get it turned upright.  Hope that you enjoy it anyway and if you have any suggestions on how I can get it righted, I'm all ears.(lol)  For someone who didn't know what WASHI tape was, I'm sure enjoying using it.  This is from the Gingham Garden  Designer Washi tape.  I used  Best of Flowers stamp set, again but this time used the hyacinth stamp and used Gumball Green and Marina Mist and "thumped" the flower with Midnight Muse. The card measured 4 1/4" x 11 scored at 5 1/5 and 2 3/4 and is a "Z" fold. The DSP is Gingham Garden. Hope you like it.  Happy Stamping!

HappyTuesday, blogger friends

I'm finding that I tend to gravitate to the flower stamps.  This is a birthday card that I did for one of my friends.  I used: daffodil delight and whisper white cs, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie, chocolate chip ink, Best of Flowers and Feel goods stamp sets and 7/16" Natural trim.  Used A,B,C, acrylic blocks for the background.  Used dimensionals to adhere the Whisper White onto the daffodil delight CS. How do you like it?  Happy Stamping!

Used  Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe Ink.  Like the Pumpkin Pie narrow ribbon to add an extra touch to the card. Inside of the card is shown below. Added an extra touch with the Mosaic Madness stamps used with the dimensionals.  Use Teeny Tiny Wishes for the saying. Hope you like it.  Happy Stamping!

More "tool" holders

A single can covered with retired Nature Walk DSP to hold additional tools for doing projects.
This can is a little shorter than the one above- Was a can from diced green chilis. I like the containers because they don't hold so many items that you have to "dig" through a lot of supplies to get the tool you need.  The bottom pic is a covered Quaker Oat  "can" that I covered to use as a gift container for home-made oatmeal raisin cookies for a friend.  You can fit 2 bags of cookies in the container. Also used the retired Nature Walk DSP and the SAB ribbon.

Happy June

I'm getting ready for the New Catalog  Open House and made this Organizer
using PVC pipe decorated with retired DSP.  Used Nature Walk.  This is the second one that I have made.  The next pic is the one that I made last year using Christmas DSP.  They sure come in handy to keep all the supplies that you need to do projects with. The large pipe is 3" in diameter and the small ones are 1 1/4".  My hubby cut them with a band saw.  You can make them larger or smaller depending on the base that you put them on.  What do you think?
The base of both of the Organizers are made from the packing that the Silver glimmer paper comes in.  Stop by tomorrow and see a few different containers that I thought might go with the larger ones.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!
