Happy Saturday, Blogger friends

Another of my Christmas cards for 2014.  Started early and mailed 60 by the 10th of the month.  Now just doing a few more.  Getting ready for family for Christmas.  Our wish for everyone this Christmas season,  Be healthy and safe.  Check back tomorrow for more Christmas card designs.

Have not blogged for some time... in between Dr visits,  and computer problems, my time was focused on other things.  This is a card I made with the "left-over" items from the Dec. paper pumpkin kit.  I just couldn't bear to throw out the letters that came after I punched them out from the cute gift tags.  Just love the winter houses from the holiday occasions catalog.  What do you think?  I'm still working on computer problems but hope to get them fixed soon.  In the meantime, I have made it my goal to get back to blogging.  Happy Stamping!

New SU catalog here

Finally got my glue gun and tackled this wreath.  I have had this kit since it first came out and never got around to putting it together.  Like the way that it turned out.  I added more flowers than were shown on the picture that came with the kit.  What do you think?  I've  also been trying to get all my stamping supplies organized and it's coming along slowly but coming along.     WOW    The new SU catalog is out for all to see.  Lots of neat things in it.  Happy Stamping!

How do you like this color combination?  This is one of my favorites. . .  I don't seem to use it very much until I see a card done using these colors.  this card was shared by my friend Sue at a recent get-together.  She used the stamp set Flower shop along with the coordinating punch and the stamp set Tape It.  I  don't have these sets but have put them on my
wish list.    The sentiment is from the stamp set Lots of thanks.  More coming tomorrow.  Happy Stamping!

My monocramatic version using the new stamp "A work of art"  I wasn't sure that I particularly liked the stamp but after making the card, I  fell in love with it.  The new Lost Lagoon ribbon is very nice (almost silky to the touch) I'm so glad that the decorative dots embossing folder was carried over.  Can't wait till June 1st to order the other new embossing folders.  Tell me what you think,please.   Happy Stamping!

Card Samples

Isn't this a neat card?  My stamping friend, Kendra shared this card.  She used the new Envelope Board and cut the grooves at the top.  Stamp set is Serene Silhouettes- one that I'm glad is carried over into the new catalog.  I now am going to purchase it.  CS is very vanilla, baked brown sugar, pistachio pudding and crisp cantalope.  Linen thread is used to add just that needed embellishment.  Hope you like this card as much as I do.  More tomorrow.  Happy Stamping

I'm Back. . .

Have been busy planning a surprise 75th birthday party for my hubby on the 10th and just haven't gotten any new pics taken since the Quail chicks hatched.  Haven't seen the quail family around-  imagine they're around the neighborhood.  Today's post is the birthday cake for the party.  I must say that it was a surprise.  Caught myself several times almost "spilling the beans' 

The cake matched the invitation with the balloons.  It was chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling.  Allen sure loves chocolate.  More tomorrow.    Happy Stamping!
