One hour workshop "peek"

This is a "peek" at the card that I'm doing at the 1 hour workshop tonight for the Make & Take.  I love the new Lacy & Lovely stamp set and the new natural designer buttons, the dahlia and the Island Indigo ruffled ribbon.  The card was really very quick to do. My friend, Tammy who is the hostess thought it looked simple but elegant.  I usually do a lot more but I decided that I liked it too.  This is the first one hour workshop that I've done(5 of the 9 people coming have never stamped. . .  I'm looking forward to show them StampinUp products.  More tomorrow.  Keep on Stamping!

These are some of the snowflakes we cut out with the new Snow Flurry die and the colorful beverage can that we had.

These are some of the "treats" I made for my granddaughter's school class for Halloween.  Used 2 of the narrow cellophane bags and put wrapped candy in one and a pencil in the others.  Love the Monster Munchies  stamp set. One hour workshop treats

These were some of the "Halloween candy baskets" I made using empty paper towel rolls and empty toilet paper rools.  Used the Howlstooth & scarringbone DSP. Filled them with chocolate nuggets covered with the same DSP.  Used the Jolly Bingo bits for the saying and the round circle punch and the round scallop circle punch. The handles were attached using brads.  These will be some of the "treats" that I'll use for the upcoming 1 hour workshop that my friend Tammy will host at my house.  I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends. The picture below is of the "baskets" up close.

More granddaughter projects

Here is the newest project that my granddaughter, Anna and my friend Tammy did this past weekend.  Isn't it awesome.  It's a scens made with twigs for the log cabins and pinecones for the trees.  Picture below is an upclose photo of it.  The roof of the house on the left is white paint and the roof of the house on the left is cotton peices. They made that out of Q-tips(how clever since they didn't have any cotton balls) Anna loves to have her projects posted on my blog-  Aren't they great?  Check back tomorrow for some more Halloween treat containers.  Happy Stamping!

Halloween treat containers

How would you like to get your Halloween treats in this container?  It's made similar to the "take-out" boxes that you get from restaurants.  Made very simple.  I will post a tutorial if there is any interest.  Please comment if you would like the directions.  Love the new Bootiful Occasions stamp set. Also used the Spooky Bingo bits stamp set. Made the witches hat with our punches.  Had another class last night and had fun making snowflakes with the Big Shot and the new Snow Flurry die using colorful beverage cans- I had forgotten how very pretty they are.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see some of the finished product.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Tammy designed this card all by herself. She used Island Indigo CS and White Embossing Powder

She used her new Big Shot and new  Snowflake die to cut out the ornament in the middle of the card. Did you notice the bow made with the Baker's twine on the front of the card?  If you untie the bow, the ornament slips out and you have a tree ornament.  The labels tag on the bottom of the page gives you the directions to do that.  I thought the card turned out GREAT  and liked dual purpose card that she made. 

 

Tammy is working on a Halloween card that we did in the class-  Tammy was introduced to stamping last summer and has really done some great projects.  She is very talented!
