Woke up to SNOW today

Thought this was a fitting card for today since we woke up to SNOW this morning.  It's warming up some- is now 40 degrees.  Used sky blue, whisper white and vellum CS for the card.  The trees are from that wonderful "stand-by" stamp set, "Lovely as a Tree"  Lined the trees up using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Stamped the Vellum with snowflakes from the Snowflake Soirie stamp set. Used Basic Gray and Black Stazon for the sentiment. We will make this card at Stamp class this coming Wednesday.  Hope you enjoy it.  Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday, blogger friends

These are two of the Christmas cards I did  after getting the inspiration from the Stampin Connection
If I remember correctly it was from Kelly Gettelfinger and Nema Shaw.  It's supposed to snow here this afternoon so thought I'd do the snowflake one.  I had a ball using the expressions framelits but was a little surprised at how large it was.  The wax paper makes the words come out so easy.  I didn't have any fishing line for the "Merry" card so I used white sewing thread.  Think they came out pretty nice. What do you think?  Happy Stamping!

Another beginning of the week.

The Pop-Up cards Tammy and Barb did at class last week.  Used the "Trulu Grateful" stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  The next class we did was the Christmas Planner.  I'm still having a problem with posting more than 1 pic on the blog but am still trying to figure it out.  Anyone have any suggestions? Anxious to "create" some projects for the class on Wednesday.  It's supposed to drop some of that "white" stuff(SNOW) this afternoon.  Happy Stamping!

It's Wednesday again, blogger friends

This is my get-well card for Shelli, the CEO and founder of StampinUp.  She is home from the hospital after a riding accident.  Wanted to make something that she could leave"propped" up if she wished.  Sent with prayers and lots of good wishes.  I'm doing a class tonight so stop back to see what we accomplish.  Happy Stamping!

Class project pictures

Card class with Tammy and Barb. . .They did a "pop-up" fall card using the new Truly Grateful stamp set. A  great card to set on a table or desk.  Colors used were Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked brown sugar, Crushed curry, Pistachio Pudding.
The classes I've been having are concentrating on a different technique each week.  This week we're doing a Christmas Planner class.  All for now.  Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday, the sun is out this morning!

Granddaughter, Sydney with the beautiful clipboard she made.  She used some retired DSP but I think it turned out great.  I wasn't quite sure how the combination  of colors would look but I really like it.  What do you think?  The sun is finally out this morning- sure hope that the rain has stopped for a bit.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the folks on the Front Range with all the flooding that's happening.  Colorado is sure WET!.  I'm still having some pro9blems with my computer but am going to try and post a few more pictures on this post.  I have been having classes every Wednesday and have some great pictures to share with you with the projects that my friends have done.

Happy Wednesday, blogger friends

My version of a CASED card that I got off STAMPIN CONNECTION. It was on a video and I believe the original card was done by Michelle Zindorf.   If this is not correct, let me know so that I can  acknowledge the correct person.  I love this card but I must admit that it takes some practice with the brayer to not get too much ink on it.  I used the New Wetlands  stamp set.  Ink colors are Crumb cake, Pool Party, Night of Navy, Stazon. Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil delight . Also used the Ovals framelits to cut out the shape on the front of the card.  I attached it on the inside and covered it with Whisper White cardstock to make sure that it didn't come off.  Hope you like it.  Happy Stamping!
