More flowers from Maui

Thought the "flower" in the middle of the pic. was so unusual.
Doesn't this flower look like an "ear of corn"  It almost looks like it's growing out of a pine tree.
Not sure what this flower is but looks like a primrose.   More coming. . . be sure and check back.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Rainbows and sunsets

Rainbows were seen pretty much every day in Maui.  We found both the Island of Maui and Oahu to have different
landscapes- some spots  more lush and green than others.  We went completely around both islands in a day.  A lot to see.
Another rountine sight- such beautiful sunsets.  Our son told us to look for the "flash of  green"  That occurs as the sun is setting and is just at the horizon.  More to come . . .

More vacation pictures in Maui

We loved all the beautiful flowers and have taken some great pictures of them.  Saw this at the airport in Maui A view of the dock within walking distance of the condo.  Later on the trip we took the Trilogy whale tour.  The humback whales were there having their babies and breeding.  They come every year as early as October and as late as May.  The whale trip had a naturalist on board that give us some great information about the whales.  They come down from Alaska every year.  During the time that they're around the Hawaiian islands they don't eat(which I found very interesting)  They eat in the summer.  The gestation time for a whale is 1 year.  More to come . . .

Happy Groundhog Day!

What a quick Valentine card.  Loved using the single Valentine's stamp.  Don't you just love the More Amore specialty DSP with the laser cut heart?  I also love the large and mini butterfly punches.  Makes for a quick card.  My goal is to send my Valentines a few days before Valentines Day (lol)
Another quick card- just a simple card. Hope you enjoy it.  Happy Stamping!

More mini waterfall album

Here's more of my version of the Mini Waterfall album that was shown by Kelly Gettelfinger on Stampin Connection. I love the album.. .  it goes together so quickly and looks like a lot of time was spent on it.
A view showing the book closed .  I especially like that you can tie it together with the ribbons on the front and back of the album.  I'm still getting back to my routine after vacation.  Had a wonderful time in Hawaii visiting my son and daughter-in-law.  Even met another SU demonstrator.  She was running a quilt store that my dil frequents.  I didn't have a lot of access to a computer so I hadn't checked to see all the great new things going on with SU.  She told me about the "Paper Pumpkin" I'm excited to sign up for it.  More later.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Happy February!

My table set up for my 1 hour workshop held on Monday.  I wanted to display all the GREAT
products that are available during SAB.  We just got back from our 1st trip to Hawaii so I was really excited to have a workshop.  We had a really great time visiting our son and daughter-in-law and saw some great sights.  Love, loved , loved the moisture in the air. . .  Arizona is so much drier.  Below pic is a closer view of one end of the table.  The boards have part of the class that I'm going to do so it was a great time for workshop attendees to sign up for them.  The Valentine cards  and the Mini Waterfall Album on the table are part of the classes that I'm doing.  On the board are the gift cards that are part of the Mini Waterfall project.  I'm still having some computer problems so hopefully they will resolve and I can post projects and pics of our Hawaii trip daily so... check back.  Happy Stamping!
