Love the "pocket" for putting pictures, notes, etc. for the season. Love the plaid designer paper

The idea sheet  allows you to place some of the year's samples of the cards that you send out.  Serves as a reminder for me.  Hope you're enjoying the planner so far.  More coming. . .

For some reason my computer will only let me post a few pages  in the order that I assembled the book so this may take several posts to get it all in.  Bear with me. . .   Happy Stamping!

It's Friday, blogger friends

Was re-arranging my craft room and came across this kit that I purchased in 2007.  Thought that I'd better put it together.  It isn't from StampinUp but I made a template of it and plan on making a few more using designer series papers from StampinUp.  This is the back of the book. Below is the page next to the back. The following is the book from back to front.

It'sThursday, blogger friends

I wanted to cover this small clipboard and used the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit. Tea for Two DSP and Sycamore Street Dsp.  Thought this might make a great doorprize for a Workshop or even a Hostess gift.
This card was CASED from one that a fellow SW demonstrator, Sue Smedley did for a swap at our meeting.  Loved how she used the Big Shot and the Labels framelits.  Also love the Boho flower punch.  Thanks, Sue for this great card.
Check back to see the Holiday Planner that I finally got put together.  Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday, blogger friends

My friends and sorority sister Susan and Bill are celebrating their 35th anniversary today.  Congratulations and many happy more!  The colors used are Susan's favorite and I was pleased with how the colors came out.  I used Riding Hood Red, Daffodil delight and whisper white card stock.  The stamp was Quint-essential Flower stamped with Riding Hood Red ink, Wild Wasabi and daffodil delight.  Used large scallop and medium scallop punch and 1" circle punch .  Used dimensionals to "pop" out each section of the flower.  The lattice embossing folder was used on the whisper white background.  The bitty banner framelits and the Windows collection framelits was also used.
Another "sorority sister", JoAnn is having a special day on the 28th and this is the card that I made for her using the new Dress-up framelits.  Her favorite color is purple so I used Wisteria Wonder cardstock .I used the delicate doilies and sponged Wisteria around the edges.  Used the Framed tulips embossing folder and also the sanding blocks to make the tulips "pop".   Check back  to see  the swap cards I made for the Diva swap this month.  Happy Stamping!

Sunday's Post

This is the front of a card that I did for my friend and Beta Sigma Phi sorority sister, Carolyn.
for her silver circle award in the sorority.  Used her favorite color green(Wasabi ) and the delicates doilies embossed with silver EP.  Used Four Seasons stamp set and embossed the inner circle on the doily. The bottom pic. is the inside of the card.  Loved adding some "bling" with pearls. Used  Fabulous Flourishes stamp set.  Loved the way the card turned out.  Congratulations, Carolyn on this award.    Check back for some more cards done for sorority sisters.  Happy Stamping!

Happy Thursday blogger friends

Thanks to my fellow demonstrator friend , Karen Reid this is the card that we CASED for the stamp class today.
I really love the color and the crisp look of this card, thanks, Karen for such a neat card.
This is the same layout but used the Quint-Essential Flower stamp instead of the Just Thinking stamp. Such a fun card to do.
Also love the simplicity of this sympathy card. Used Thoughts & Prayers stamp.  The clouds were made from a template that I made using the large scallop die with the Big Shot and the 1 3/4 " scallop punch.  Used Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party ink for the clouds and Early Espresso for the tree.  The designer paper was from Print Poetry.  It was finished with Crumb Cake taffeta  ribbon.  Hope you enjoyed our cards.  Happy Stamping!

2nd card from Wednesday's class

This card was CASED from a make & take we did at the Denver Regional last September.
This set wasn't a favorite of mine till we did the card.  The gals liked doing the card but thought the clock was a little difficult. Both envelopes are displayed beneath the cards.  Hope you like them.  More to come. . .   Happy Stamping!

Happy Staurday, blogger friends

"By the Tide"  This was  one of the cards done at last Wednesday's class.  This card was CASED from a video on StampinConnection done by Lisa Curcio. Coordinating envelope is below. We used Crumb cake CS, Night of Navy ink. The whisper white Cs was brayered using Marina Mist for the background for the stamps. This will make a great masculine birthday card.

Happy Thursday, blogger friends

Lois and Carolyn busy working at class last evening.  The "treat boxes" were from a template made from the Simply Sent Hello  SAB catalog.  A great template for using regular SU cardstock and DSP.
Lois is a new stamper( this is her 2nd time). Didn't she do a great job with this little box? . . . She didn't think that she was creative but delighted with her finished projects. Below is Carolyn with her projects.  Check back and see the cards that they also made.

Playing "Catch Up"

It seems like the time is getting away from me. . .  Here's a birthday card that I did for a friend.  Liked using the clear blocks and stamping an image over them.  This one I cut out the block images and attached them to the card with dimensionals.  The silver glimmer oval was from another card that I had done.  Thought that it might make the Happy Birthday pop out more along with the pool party oval behind it.
Used Pool party card stock with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on whisper white card stock and pool party ink over  it. Very simple but elegant.   Our weather in Arizona has given me the gardening "bug" and for the first time in many years I have decided to plant two little flower gardens.  We had our soil tested and found out what nutrients were missing and added a bunch to the soil.  Maybe they will thrive.  A "green thumb" I do not have.(lol)  More stamping to do today.  Check back tomorrow for some of the results...
I want to be sure and place an order with StampinUp today  because they are offering FREE SHIPPING today, tomorrow and Monday- WHAT A GREAT DEAL.   Be sure to check out my Web site. . . http://Barbarasstampstuff.stampinup.net    In the meantime, Happy  Stamping!
