Fall Scarecrow

Isn't this a cute scarecrow?   Just in time for Fall.  Sue Brown, a SW demonstrator friend showed us how to  do this when we got together.  The burlap bow on his hat really add a finishing touch.    Sorry about the side view below-  I can't figure out how to  turn the photo(lol)  Love the way Sue showed us how to make the "straw hair"  Doesn't the new Orchard Harvest designer paper go nicely for his hat? It's really very easy to make with the Fancy Favor box and the Top Note die and the Big Shot-  Love that tool!  Have fun stamping! Check back tomorrow for more project ideas.

More pictures

My stampin friend Kendra Richardson at our stamping get together.  Was great to get together and do some sharing.
My friend, Sue Brown showed us this cute treat for Halloween.  I decided to get busy and make some for our "trick and treaters .  I've been very lax in my posts since I've been back from Colorado.  Have been trying to get my stamping stuff organized and my hubby has not been feeling well so that's taken up some of my focus.  Will do better.  Was so excited that StampinUp  had such a great promotion today.  Had a few customers that were able to take advantage of it and, of course I also took advantage too.  Purchased some early Christmas gifts.  Below is a few other "treats" for the "cute goblins" coming on Halloween. Back to stamping.  Can't wait for my order to get here. I even took advantage of the single stamps that were offered.  Be back tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping in.  Happy Stamping!

Back from Colo.

A surprise "birthday treat" from my StampinUp buddies at our monthly get-together.  Was yummy and really a surprise .Thanks, guys.
Two of my stampin friends, Karen Reid and Sue Brown when we got together and shared stampin  ideas.  Was great to get together. More tommorow.  Happy Stamping!

One hour workshop

Getting ready for my one hour workshop-  table with examples of items that we will make in my upcoming classes.  At the bottom of the "class board" is the box that will hold the Christmas tags that we will make.  Class will be the tags(18) the decorated box to hold them and the 3-D Christmas card , and snowflakes seen at the top left of the board.
More examples for workshop attendee to view.  Some of these are from card swaps from convention, Denver regional and SW demonstrator meeting and my swaps.  Below are some new StampinUp products for workshop attendees to view. Workshop was small but we had a great time.  We were so engrossed in the M & T that I forgot to take pictures.  I will have to be sure and take pictures at the 2 classes that I will be doing next week.  Happy Stamping!

Thank you card

Did this card for my friend, Kendra who has been such a great help to me with my blog-  Have been having trouble with my computer since I am back in Az.  I loved doing this card and used the "rock 'n' roll technique.  Also used the shimmer paint on the inside of the card and on the acorn on the front of the card. The new buttons are great.  I'm getting ready for another 1 hour workshop this week- really like the format for the shorter workshop and my customers seems to really like that it's doone in such a short time.  Inside of the card below.  Check back tomorrow for more on the 1 hour workshop.  Happy Stamping!

More One hour workshop pics

These are some of the ladies working on their M & T at the 1 hour workshop. There were 10 ladies present and 6 of them had never stamped.  They did awesome cards and I was amazed that not all of them did the card like I demo'd it.  They did it "their way". I told them they could do it however they wanted. . . this was their project.  I was so excited to meet them and introdue them to the "World of StampinUp".  The bottom pic is of some of the ladies at the other side of the table- even had a very young one. She was such a good baby.
The ladies all commented on how great a time they had-  Looking forward to doing more stamping.  Stop back tomorrow for some more pics.  Happy Stamping!

One hour workshop pics

This is the front of the Favor box that I did for my hostess for my one hour workshop last week. She really likes the die so thought I'd make it and fill it with notecards for her.  The picture below is of the notecards that I put in the "favor box"  I especially liked how the envelopes turned out that I made using the "diagonal plate for the Simply Scored tool" More pics tomorrow.   Happy Stamping!
