Birthday card

Needed some new birthday cards.  This one is for a granddaughter with a Dec. birhday.  Love the way this card turned out.  The inspiration is from my friend and fellow SW demonstrator, Kendra Richardson.  The stamp set "For the Birds" is such a great stamp to use with the watercolor paper.  The new Sindow Frames Collection seems to be my new go-to to use on my cards. Love all the new framelits SU is offering.  Love trying new things.  Plan on taking advantage of the Online Extravaganza. . .   last day today to take advantage of the great sales.  The envelope that coordinates with the card using the same "For the Birds" stamp set is shown below.   Need to  work on some Christmas cards so that I can get them in the mail soon.  More to come. . .   Happy Stamping!

A card "My Way"

A mistake with the orientation of this card . Template is one of the Connie
Stewart templates-  I  cut several of both the templates she shared and started putting this card together before I realized that I had the orientation different from what she demonstrated on her video.  Realized it before I finished the card so decided that I didn't  want to discard the card so with a little tweaking was able to save it.  What do you think? Decided  that I needed to make a card with the same orientation as Connie showed .  Using the templates is really quite fun .Love the different looks she has created just using two templates.   If you haven't tried her system out,  try it and you, too will see how easy it is to use.  More tomorrow. . .Happy Stamping!

More Christmas swaps

The new Fancy Fan Embossing Folder adds such an elegance to this card.  This is another card that I'm going to have to CASE.  I don't know who made this card but received it at the Denver Regional.  If it's yours, let me know and I will give you credit for this beautiful card.  Stop tomorrow for some more. In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Christmas card swaps

Love this cute Christmas card tht I received at the Denver Regional from Linda Bailey.  The verse goes so well with the yummy looking gingerbread man on the front.  I can't wait to CASE this card.  Thanks, Linda.
This is the card from a different angle.   The card below was done by Angela Muranda-Clark.  I love the "crispness" of this card.  Looks like a great card to do for a Christmas "stamp-a-stack" or a M&T for a 1 hour workshop.  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stamping!

More SW demo swaps

Another great Christmas card shared at our SW demonstrator meeting.  Am not sure who created this card but isn't it lovely?
Linda Smith swapped this gorgeous card with us.  She used the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark  stamping pad for the snowflakes and the silver embossing powder on the snowflake that's "popped" up on the card.  A very elegant card. More  swaps tomorrow.  "Happy Stamping"

Swap cards

Isn't this card that Kadie Labadie had us do for the M & T at our SW demonstrator meeting neat.  It uses the Connie Stewart template.  I love, love, love that template that Connie shared.  It's so versatile.  Love the "crispness" of the card.  I'm going to make more of these, for sure.
This is the card that Teresa Martinez swapped with us.  Love how she did the background. The stamp set is "Lovely as a Tree"  The card below was shared by Karen Reid..  Stamp sets she used are Wonderfall, Blessings from Heaven.   She also used  the "Woodgrain" embossing folder for the background.  I'm so glad that she used that for her card- I have the folder but as yet haven't used it.  I'm for sure going to do a card using that EF for the background.  Thanks, Karen.  Hope you enjoy these cards as much as I do.  Check back tomorrow for some more swaps.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

some swap cards

A quick glance at the swap card that I'm doing for  our SW demo. meeting next week.  I used More Mustard,
cajun craze, whisper white cardstock, Orchard Harvest DSP, Window frames collection framelits, Full of Blessings stamp set, Early Espresso ink, Watercolor pencils and the blender pen and I made the banner end with a square punch.  That punch makes it go so much faster. I
love  to use the Big Shot.  Fun card to do but the watercoloring took a little time.  Thanks to fellow SW demonstrator, Kendra Richardson for the inspiration.

Fall cards

Made a few fall cards.  This is very similar to the thank you I did a few days ago.  Wanted to try out the new Window Frames collection framelits.  Love using the Festival of Prints designer paper and the Wacky Wishes stamp set.
Love the new  Affection Collection   stamp set.  When I first saw it I wasn't sure I liked it but after doing the Make & Take at convention, I decided that I was going to make cards with it for sure.  Used a button from the brights collection and the 1/8 taffeta ribbon in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin pie. Inside of the card is below.  Hope you like the cards.  Happy Stamping!

Masculine thank you card

Needed to make a masculine thank you card so came up with this.  Used Island Indigo cardstock, designer paper from the Festival of Prints designer paper stack found in the new Christmas mini catalog, a new natural button,   Island Indigo Baker's twine, the new Window frames collection Framelits and the Thank you stamp from the Wacky Wishes stamp set.  A simple but fun card to share with you.  Received my order yesterday with a couple of the single stamps in it.  Am so glad that StampinUp has decided to offer the single stamps. Had quite of few of my customers take advantage of the Spook-tacular stamp sale on the 29th. Check back for some more ideas tomorrow.  Happy Stamping!
