Stamp class

This is Barb, one of my new recruits during class using the Big Shot.  It never ceases to amaze me what great cards the gals are doing. She started stamping last year but really does  some beautiful  work.  Am so exited to have her andTammy on my "team".  We had a good time this  summer with all of the projects-  I did at least one new technique every week with them.I will be posting their "swap" cards soon.  In the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Card swap card

It's cold up here so I guess the "computer gremlins" are playing again- I can't figure out how to turn the image so it is upright.  Any suggestions as to what I need to do?  This is my swap card that I did for my two new recruits. We celebrated with a spaghetti dinner, had a "team" meeting and did a swap.  I will be posting their cards later since I still haven't figured out how to put more than 1 image on a post at a time- no one seems to be able to help me.  I can't wait for you to see their cards.  They are AWESOME. I am so happy for them that they joined the ST family and will get the great discounts.  The card I did I used Real red cs, Champagne glitter paper, Gumball green ribbon, the new stamp from the holiday catalog(I can't remember the name).  I adhered the ribbon onto the glimmer paper using "Crystal Effects" . I then attached the deer onto the card by putting the dimensionals onto the ribbon- also put a few on the WW cs.  I sponged the edge of the WW with Baked  Brown sugar ink.  It really went together fast - I had to wait a little bit to let the ribbon dry some.  I cut the Oval out with the Big Shot and the Oval framelits.  Hope you like it.  Happy Stamping!

New "Bite Me" Halloween card

This is a quick card that I made as soon as the UPS delivered it to my door.  Used the new Halloween designer paper to use for the backgreound of the Pumpkin Pie and Black card stock.  Would make a good ,quick card for a "wow" workshop and for first time stampers.  Enjoy.  Happy Stamping!

My circle thinlit card

This was my 1st attempt usng the new circle thinlit framelit.  I made this severalweeks ago and thought that I had already posted it.  Am loooooving that framelit big time.  I've even done a double circle cut out inspired by Melvena Shaw, one of my Diva swap demonstrators.  This stamp is from the Best of AutumnWhomever has been in charge of choosing the stamp that go into the Best Of... has been terrific! I would love it if next year SU would continue the Best of... Stamps and call it Best of the Past. That's it for now.  Happy Stampin!

Happy Monday blogger friends- it's still cold here.

I decided to try out the "Best of Thanksgiving" with the new Label thinlets.  I love how the pumpkin and barn just seem like it's made for the label cutout.  Watercolored the image with my blender pens.  Added a "belly band" with the sentiment and under the band is the "leafless
trees.  Like  the "Sweater Weather" DSP on the front of the card.  I love all of the plaid DSP.  Hope you enjoy. . .  Happy Stamping!

Class share

Loved out this card came out.  It's made using the "Shaving Cream Technique".
I used Pistachio pudding cs, Wonderful wreath stamp, Owl builder punch for the berries and topped them with crystal effects also used the new Chevron ribbon in Cherry Cobbler. The sentiment is using the new gold encore ink pad and More Merry Messages stamp set. To color the shaving cream, I used real red and raspberry Ripple re-inker.  My class loved making this card.   Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Another card we'll be doing in class this week!

Just LOOOVED  this lattice work when I saw it on Stampin Connection.  I can't remember the demonstrator's name so if it was you, please let me know so that I can give you the proper credit.  I used Baked Brown Sugar to go over the lattice work so that it would stand out.  Used the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set for embellishments.  Added the rhinestones and pearls to "spruce" up the ornaments.  More Merry Messages stamp set was used for the sentiment.  I think it's simple but elegant.  Hope you enjoy it.  Happy Stamping!

October 1st all ready. . .

Have been doing a technique class once a week and this is one of the cards that we will be doing this week.  Stamp sets that I used are:  Best of Halloween, Toil & Trouble and Halloween Bash.  CS and DSP, Witches' Brew DSP, WW , Basic black. Gumball Green, Ink: Black Stazon and gumball green.  I was planning a different layout but changed it when I figured what I wanted to do wouldn't fit on a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card, oh well.  I think this turned out pretty good.  Inside has the sentiment from Halloween Bash stamp set and the Raven from Toil & Trouble.  Hope you enjoy.  Happy Stamping!
