Granddaughter, Shelby with her decorated EPIC DAY JOURNAL. Did n't she do a great job?  Close of the Journal is below. Love the way her name just fits down the side of the journal.  She also loves the Washi Tape.  The Hexagon worked great with the Epic  Day This N That Designer Paper.  Check back tomorrow for pics of some of my Convention swaps. . . Monday's pick

Here's another peak at one of the swaps I did for convention.  I sure loved the retired Quintessential flower stamp set from last years catalog and am super happy SU has  included a replacement for it. .the five-way flower. I originally saw the design for this card using last year's stamp set "Thinking of You".  I also Love the Square Lattice Embossing folder. The new In-colors are super- Pistachio Pudding is one of my favorite  but then all of the new ones are my favorite! I especially like the "crispness" of this card.  Hope you enjoy it.  Happy Stamping!

Convention Sneak Peak!

I'm taking a break from washing walls and repainting them but thought I'd share a card that I did for the upcoming convention.  Love the "BEST OF STAMPS"  This is the Best of Flowers.  I used the new In-Color Coastal Cabana and the Silver Glimmer CS along with Primrose Petals 2013-2014 In color ribbon.  What do you think?  Can't wait for convention-  will be
AWESOME to meet some of the International demonstrators!

Check this out!

Love this cute card--two birthday owls.  I love what she did with the embellishment. She  stamped a cute owl and glued it to the center of the embellishment.
This is the last card that Tammy shared with me-  Loved the Thinking of You Stamp. . So sorry to see it retired.  Thanks, Tammy for being my guest stamper this week.  Don't forget to tell me what you think of Tammy's cards so that I can pass it on to her.  Happy Stamping!

Happy Thursday, blogger friends

Bootiful Occasions is the stamp set that Tammy used for this cute card.  Love that gumball green.
Doesn't it just remind you of kids splashing through the mud puddles after a nice soaking rain?
Hope you enjoy the card-  More coming in the next few days.  Happy Stamping!

Guest stamper, Tammy

This is Tammy's owl card.  She helped Anna with hers which I featured yesterday.
Inside of Tammy's card is sligtly different than Anna's- both are as cute as they can be..don't you think? Love the way the owl on the right is looking over at the one on the left.  .cute,cute,cute. Our renovation project is coming along-  I did some painting, yesterday (wall,  that is ) Hopefully some of it will be finished when I get back from convention. Have had to put off some classes that I had planned but will double up on them when it gets finished.  More cards, tomorrow. . .

More guest stamper cards

My granddaughter did this cute owl card- Love the colors that she chose- Pumpkin pie just sets this little guy off. She used the BIG SHOT with the Window collection dies.  You can just get a hint of the card from the Birthday saying in the center of the card.  She also used the stamp set"Bring on the cake"
This is the center of the card with the 2 owls sitting on the branch.  What do you think?  Cute, isn't it.  Thanks, to Anna for a great card(and she's only 8 years old.!  Happy Stamping!

Monday, July 8th- guest stamper

I've been in the middle of a house renovation and have some of my stamping supplies packed up so I asked my friend, Tammy if she would be my guest stamper.  I introduced stamping to her a few years ago and WOW does she do GREAT work.  She is very artistic.  I've highlighted some of her work before and wanted to share this card and more with all of you.  This is a cased card from Tami White video.  Tammy changed the colors up a bit and used The Startup card stock pack, Razzleberry and Night of Navy are the background colors.  The card is done with post-it note masking. The colors in the sunset are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point and Midnight Muse.  On the snow, she used Marina Mist. How do you like it?  Please leave your comments so that I can pass than on to her (I'm trying to get her to join the StampinUp family) Check back tomorrow for some more of her great work.  Happy
Stamping!

Paper Clip bows

I finally got around to doing these cute paper clip bows thanks to the video by StampinT on StampinConnection. I tried several with different DSP paper and had some colored paper clips which were a great addition to the colorful paper.  I decided to see what the bow would look like if I made it just a "tad" wider so the blue bow in the middle is 3/4" wide.  I made mine using just mini glue dots and it worked great. More views of them below. Tell me what you think of the wider bow.  All for now.  Happy Stamping!
